Property prices going up in Dubai

The cost of premium apartments in Dubai rose during the third quarter of 2009, recent figures have revealed.

 

As per a recent report on the residential sector in UAE, apartment prices rose from over 1K dirham (approximately $300+ ) per square feet in the second quarter of the year 2009, and even more in recent months. Completed projects in Downtown experienced the greatest increase in prices, with property selling for about eight per cent more than in the months between April and June this year.

 

Reports say that the increased interest in completed communities has resulted in landlords inflating their prices. In July this year, the cost of commercial property fell almost 25 per cent quarter-on-quarter during the second three months of the year.
